About Us Australian Marinas. Every Single One of Them. New vessel purchasers wanted to know where they could berth their boats short and long term, or which marinas had berths for sale. When undertaking passage planning and coastal voyages, cruising boaties needed to know where safe harbours were located. They also wanted to know which facilities and services were available and how to contact the harbourmaster. When undertaking repairs or maintenance in unfamiliar waters, they wanted to find out which tradesmen were on-site and how to contact them. We created the Australian Marinas Guide in response to these needs, and launched the Australian Marinas Guide in 2008. It is constantly evolving as both boaties and marina operators give us feedback on how the guide can best meet demand. During 2011 we have exciting plans to make the Guide even more accessible to boat owners. Fiona Harperis the founding Editor of the Australian Marinas Guide.
