ADVERTISE on the Australian Marinas Guide

The Australian Marinas Guide is committed to providing accurate, up to date information on every marina in Australia. We specialise in boating lifestyles, and we know the business well, both from an editorial perspective, as well as being active boaties ourselves. We regularly visit marinas across the Australia/Asia/Pacific region in order to stay informed of developments and changes.

We’ve traveled the waterways of Australia researching marinas and safe harbours, resulting in this directory of more than 300 businesses that offer mooring facilities. Every single one of these marinas (including safe harbours, dry stack and swing or pile mooring facilities where conventional marinas don’t exist) are included in The Guide with at least a free Basic Listing. Smart operators increase their exposure by upgrading to either a Standard or Premium Listing, or by advertising their berths for sale individually.

The Guide incorporates the latest advances in internet technology and search engine optimisation. Interactive maps enable mariners to zoom in on an aerial view of their chosen marina and adjacent waterways. Street View links on (almost) every marina map entry provide a 360 degree image from the marker position. But, because boat owners tend to embrace  the whole waterfront lifestyle, even when they’re not actually onboard, we’ve also included comprehensive lifestyle, passage making and destination information. Our news blog is updated frequently with news, views and reviews on topics relevant to boating lifestyles.

Whether boaties intend to seek temporary refuge for one night, or wish to purchase or lease a berth for the long term, The Guide is fast becoming the boaties’ first port of call when seeking marina and waterfront information. With the successful launch of The Australian Marinas Guide in 2008, we're the only definitive guide to Australian marinas.

Analysis of site traffic indicates that the Marina Listings and Maps pages attract the most traffic, indicating that boaties use the site to find out about marinas, their facilities on offer as well as their location. Marina operators with an upgraded listing have the opportunity to promote the attributes of their marina facilities and services, thereby driving boating traffic and/or new members to their marina or club. With the introduction of Berths For Sale section in 2010, these pages are now attracting high traffic numbers also.

“Australian Marinas.  Every Single One of Them.”

The Australian Marinas Guide offers advertisers four opportunities for increasing exposure on The Guide:
  1. Upgrade your marina listing from a free Basic listing to either a Standard or Premium listing.
  2. Take a Banner Ad in either an exclusive or non exclusive page position in high profile positions across The Guide.
  3. Add your marina berth or mooring listings For Sale or Lease,
  4. Take a Banner Ad on our interactive news blog Travel Boating Lifestyle
All advertisers on the Australian Marinas Guide receive priority space in our monthly newsletter distribution. Without our advertisers, The Guide wouldn't have secured its' position as the definitive Australian Marinas Guide. It's our aim to support our advertisers, driving boating traffic to your business. 2. Banner Advertising

Banner advertising is available on both the Australian Marinas Guide and our associated news blog Travel Boating Lifestyle. Either platforms are a terrific vehicle for reaching a broad cross section of the highly sought after demographic of affluent boaties with high disposable incomes. The Australian Marinas Guide targets high net worth and affluent Australians with above average incomes who aspire to a quality lifestyle. Constantly seeking the most from life and at the forefront of trends and style, our target market invests heavily in updating and enhancing their boating and waterfront lifestyles.

A dedicated advertising campaign on The Guide will build up audience reach, allowing your message to be seen by the largest possible number of your potential customers. Six figure visitor numbers are using The Guide annually. Strategic direct marketing campaigns ensure that The Guide is continually evolving and improving based on feedback we receive. The Australian Marinas Guide is the only definitive guide to Australian marinas, and we welcome advertisers who support this exciting concept. We've introduced the following low rates for advertisers who support the Guide. Navigate around the different sections of The Guide and you will see examples of Banner Ads we've created already.

Banner Ads are available in either Exclusive or Non-Exclusive Positions. All Banner Ads consist of scrolling text across your image or logo. Banner Ads link directly to your own website or via a customised page then onto your website. There are simply two options to choose from:

Option One: Exclusive Position Banner Ads can be placed on your page of choice, usually across the top above the menu links. This is the only Advertising that will appear on this page. An example can be seen on the Home page.
Cost: $450 per Ad per year (Home Page attracts a premium, though is currently not available)

Option Two: Non-Exclusive Position Banner Ads are found on Marina Listings (available for each State),  Berths For Sale, Trip Planner and On the Waterfront Pages, or wherever an advertiser hasn't already paid a premium for Exclusive Positioning. Additionally, Banner Ads are available in selected positions on Travel Boating Lifestyle.
Cost: $250 per Ad per year.

Banner Ad Setup Fee: Once only fee of $220 per Banner Ad to create, set up and upload onto site. Your ad will be created to your brief and submitted for your approval before being uploaded. Any changes to your Banner Ad after initial approval will attract an additional Setup Fee each time your ad is amended and uploaded.

Optional Extra: Link your Banner Ad to a customised page on the Australian Marinas Guide. This page has approx 200 words of promotional text, two images, as well as an email link and web link to your website.
Cost: $190 per page per year, plus $110 once only Page Set Up Fee.

3. Berths & Moorings For Sale or Lease

Launched in August 2010, Berths & Moorings For Sale or Lease section is designed to connect berth owners with boat owners. Designed to allow berth, mooring or dry stack facility owners to find purchasers looking for long term or short term berthing solutions, the key to this section is our interactive mapping system. The maps are designed for boat owners to easily find the location and details of advertised berths & moorings for sale or lease.

It's the only Berths For Sale directory of its kind. Currently marina berths for sale find themselves lobbed in with boats and real estate brokers, making it difficult for genuine buyers to find marina berth opportunities. The Australian Marinas Guide aims to ease that confusion, creating a one stop location for boating enthusiasts to find docking solutions.

Click Here to visit Berths & Moorings For Sale or Lease pages.
Inclusions: Text bubble on Berth & Mooring For Sale or Lease page, categorised into States for ease of use. One Map Marker pinpointing location of berth. Text bubble linked to Map Marker has a  maximum 60 words, including contact phone number, email, live link to your website, plus your logo. If you have a number of berths for sale, or want to expand your Berths For Sale listing, we suggest that you take a Berths For Sale Web Page which allows more space to detail your berths for sale opportunities. See details below.

Cost: $250 per Map Marker per year, or until you advise us that berth is sold/leased or otherwise unavailable, up to a maximum of 12 months. After 12 months Map Marker is renewable at current rate advised on this page.

Do you have multiple berths for sale or lease or a brand new marina development? We can create your own exclusive Berths For Sale Web Page, in addition to a Map Marker, within The Guide to promote all your berth options, linked to your Map Marker. We custom design the page to suit your needs, with images and text, keeping advertising costs for your business as low as we can.
Cost: $250 per year, plus initial Set Up fee of $110 (plus Map Marker cost of $250).

Here's a sample of how your Map Marker will appear on The Guide.
