
Dockside Mildura Marina now operational | |

The Dockside Marina Centre is now fully operational meaning that for the first time in the region's history, amidst a vibrant boating and residential hub. The Mildura reach of the Murray River has full refuelling, sewerage pump-out facilities and LPG gas refills. The services are open to the public and represent the commercial marine operations centre of the $120 million Dockside Mildura Marina.
There is a nominal charge for the sewage and grey water pump-out service at the marina to cover management and maintenance as well as disposal costs. The fuel is being delivered at competitive prices and is available to all boaters irrespective of whether they are in small tinnies, wake board and ski boats, runabouts or houseboats. The marina has been designed with public access berths. They enable vessels to be moored at no charge while they are being re-fuelled or taking on provisions from the Marina Services Centre. Ropes and cleats already are in place for visiting boaties. The centre also is able to refill gas bottles sized up to 45 kg which are frequently used on commercial houseboats. In keeping with best environmental practice, the Dockside Marina Services Centre has full safety back-up systems including surface level retention booms and cleaning equipment. The Marine Services Centre can be telephoned on (03) 5023 5222 to enable vessels to phone ahead to confirm a pump-out or refuelling time from 8.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. | |
