Freo Gears up for Fourth Onwater Boat Show

After a successful 2008 event which attracted more than 14,000 people to the specially built floating pontoon, the popular Fremantle Boat Show is on again  from 27-29 March 2009.

Free to enter and situated at Fishing Boat Harbour and the Esplanade Reserve, the Fremantle Boat Show is the only boat show in Perth that accommodates an on water display.

Exhibitors cover all categories, from trailer boats to luxury motor yachts, and this year will see new releases from Riviera, Mustang and the first ever showing of the new locally built 46ft from Australia. Sailboats feature strongly with several boats on display from Dufour, Hanse, Catlalina and Seawind.

Exhibitor participation is forecast to continue to grow. Access for both on land and on water exhibitors is simple and close to many company premises, plus organisers say the opportunity for growth is almost unlimited.

Sponsored by the Fishing Boat Harbour Traders' Association, Walcon Marine, and Westbuilt and supported by Fremantle City Council and Fremantle Chamber of Commerce, the Fremantle Boat Show is proving its worth as a popular show.
