Newly completed berths at the Runaway Bay Marina will be showcased during the Marina Boat Show on the Gold Coast

Newly finished berths at Runaway Bay Marina will be showcased this November weekend when the site hosts their Marina Boat Show.The show runs from 9.00 till 5.00, both Saturday 14^th & Sunday 15^th November and entry is free.

The Marinas Boat sales tenants are strongly involved,with new boats being shown from Riviera, Activa, Clipper, Sunseeker, Cabo, & Mustang as well as a variety of pre-owned craft being shown by on site brokers Gold Coast Boat Sales and MarineEzy. The display area will be the new berths on D,E & F piers,and the adjacent boardwalk and hardstand area.

Not to be outdone, Marina tenants servicing the industry will be well represented, with outboards and engines on display and demonstrations from RB Marine Service and the latest in Marine electronics from Marinonics and Navico.

The kids have not been forgotten, the bouncy castle and ferris wheel for the smaller ones. For those keen to outdo their parents, there will be fishing clinics all weekend to teach knot tying, casting, as well as classes on how to identify your catch. There will even be a gamefishing simulator so you can feel how it feels to reel in the ‘big one’.

Runaway Bay Marina general manager Mike Harvey said, “We are excited to be able to show off the new marina berths and give our tenants an opportunity to show their products in one location and to show all what a great place this is to go boating from.”

Runaway Bay Marina is at 247 Bayview Street, Runaway Bay, and welcomes anyone with an interest in recreation, on and beside the water.
