The Sanctuary Cove Marina is a world-class facility offering personal berthing services and facilities on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The wide-berth design provides moorings for all vessels in a protected, all-weather harbour. Dockside, The Marina Village at Sanctuary Cove is a stylish waterside village complete with restaurants, buzzing bars and cafes along with a yacht club, boutiques and specialty stores. This vibrant precinct is a truly unique leisure experience, which serves both the marine community and the residential population nearby. Sanctuary Cove is centrally located with Queensland’s famous theme parks Dreamworld, Wet ‘n’ Wild and Movie World nearby. Discount outlet shopping centre ‘Harbour Town’ is also close by. The marina is just a short stroll to the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove Resort.
The Marina is the venue for the world-renowned Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, one of Asia-Pacific’s key marine-lifestyle events, attracting tens of thousands of visitors over four days each year. Check the Events calendar for dates.
Water access to Sanctuary Cove Harbour is via the vast expanse of the Gold Coast Broadwater and the well marked channel of the Coomera River. Upstream on the Coomera River amid native Australian bushland, Sanctuary Cove features four man-made harbours, which offer direct access to the Broadwater and the Pacific Ocean via the Gold Coast Seaway. The spectacular Harbour in Sanctuary Cove's deep water marina allows for easy access and mooring, providing an international standard of marine services and facilities, all within proximity to the boat havens of South Stradbroke Island, Wavebreak Island and north to Moreton Bay.
Berths sizes cater for sport cruisers through to larger vessels (up to 36 metres). Casual and permanent berth options are available in wide, single and double-pen styles. Fresh water plus single or three-phase power options are available to berths. All visiting boat owners and crews are all welcome.
As well as long term leasing, casual berthing is also available for quick visits or overnight stays by phoning the Harbour Master’s Office on (07) 5577 6069. Marina staff will assist in berthing if required, just let us know when you call to make a reservation and we'll have a staff member dockside on your arrival.
Marine Village Facilities & General InformationThe Harbour Master’s jetty provides premium and diesel fuel, plus bait, ice and oil. Toilets, showers and laundry facilities are conveniently located in The Marine Village. There are Security patrols 24 hours a day, seven days a week on both land and water. Sanctuary Cove is located on the northern Gold Coast, an easy 45 minute drive from Brisbane, 40 minutes from Gold Coast Airport, and 20 minutes from the famous Gold Coast beaches. The 474 hectare residential estate at Sanctuary Cove is a neighbour to Hope Island, plus nearby Sovereign Islands, and Ephraim Island in the high-growth Gold Coast-Brisbane corridor.
Marine Village ShoppingStroll the paved village streets and you will find many fashion surprises, including ladies’ and men’s designer jeans; swimsuits for all ages, shapes and sizes; daywear, resort and sportswear; shoes, handbags and kids fashion couture. Browse for antiques, art and jewellery, or specialty gifts and home wares.
Treat yourself to a fresh approach to shopping, where hustle and bustle makes way for electric buggies and fresh air. Twilight Markets are held on the third Thursday of each month, from 4pm. A Seafood Trawler docks at the marina every Friday, Saturday and Sunday supplying freshly caught seafood. A flower stall selling freshly cut flowers operates by the marina every Friday and Saturday. Free Outdoor Movies are held every second and fourth Friday on the Village Green, from 7pm.
And when all that shopping gets too much, there's a plethora or wining and dining options to satisfy every taste bud.
