Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken BayThe Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay, with its beautiful setting on Sydney's magnificent Pittwater is widely recognised as one of Australia's premier yacht clubs. Since its inception back in the 1920's, the club has undergone many changes.

With the passage of time, there has been the inevitable transition from a small, semi-rural establishment for a tight-knit group of dedicated "boaties", to the current modern facility catering for a diverse community of cruising, sailing, racing, fishing and social members that is the Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay today.

Despite the changes that have occurred in our membership, services and facilities over the years, the spirit of kinship and camaraderie that has always been evident at Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay is as strong as ever.

The club welcomes sail and motor boat owners and non-boaters, with a range of membership options available. All members enjoy the facilities of one of Sydney's best yacht clubs.

Restaurants, bars and a heated swimming pool are complemented by an international class marina facility catering to all sizes of watercraft.

Slipway and marine trade services are onsite.
Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay
The Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay, offers a world-class marina facility with permanent and casual berths. The club provides secured parking for boat owner members and access to a range of services from "boat pack" on-board catering to a slipway facility for vessels up to 60 tonnes. Swing moorings are also available, with the club operating a tender service to and from vessels.

Diesel and petrol fuel wharves are in two locations: on the western arm of the marina and adjoining the southern end of the carpark. Note that only diesel is available on the marina (outside) western arm fuel wharf. All three fuel types available from southern end of carpark (inside) fuel wharf.

Reasons to Linger
Explore The sheltered waters of Pittwater stretch from Broken Bay in the north, Ku-Ring-Gai-Chase National Park to the west and the northern beach suburbs of Sydney to the East. Barrenjoey Headland is the most prominent landmark at the southern headland entrance to Broken Bay. Pittwater itself is a deep water bay that runs north/south for approx five miles, and is fringed by bays and coves making for intriguing exploration.
Enjoy Kur-Ring- Gai-Chase National Park is a tight cluster of secretive, winding creeks, sheltered beaches, hidden coves and wide expanses of deep blue water. You'll find heathlands on the sandstone ridges, dense forests on the slopes, and mangroves on the tidal mudflats. The park's scenic beauty is combined with a rich Aboriginal heritage and a strong sense of history. So it's hardly surprising that millions of walkers, boaters, swimmers and picnickers have visited this iconic Sydney park since it opened in 1894.
Join the Locals Monday Twilight Sailing Series – the largest Twilight Race Event in Sydney starts on Pittwater in October, finishing at the end of March. The series includes six Divisions based on vessel handicaps, size, etc with the first Division starting time at 5.45 pm.  Over 120 entrants are expected across all Divisions so makes for a very exciting race night!
