The
Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay, with its beautiful setting on
Sydney's magnificent Pittwater is widely recognised as one of
Australia's premier yacht clubs. Since its inception back in the 1920's,
the club has undergone many changes.
With the passage of time,
there has been the inevitable transition from a small, semi-rural
establishment for a tight-knit group of dedicated "boaties", to the
current modern facility catering for a diverse community of cruising,
sailing, racing, fishing and social members that is the Royal Motor
Yacht Club Broken Bay today.
Despite the changes that have
occurred in our membership, services and facilities over the years, the
spirit of kinship and camaraderie that has always been evident at Royal
Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay is as strong as ever.
The club welcomes sail and motor boat owners and non-boaters, with a range of membership options available. All members enjoy the facilities of one of Sydney's best yacht clubs.
Restaurants, bars and a heated swimming pool are complemented by an international class marina facility catering to all sizes of watercraft.
Slipway and marine trade services are onsite.

The
Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay, offers a world-class marina facility
with permanent and casual berths. The club provides secured parking for
boat owner members and access to a range of services from "boat pack"
on-board catering to a slipway facility for vessels up to 60 tonnes. Swing moorings are also available, with the club operating a tender service to and from vessels.
Diesel and petrol fuel wharves are in two locations:
on the western arm of the marina and adjoining the southern end of the
carpark. Note that only diesel is available on the marina (outside)
western arm fuel wharf. All three fuel types available from southern end
of carpark (inside) fuel wharf. |

Explore |
The sheltered waters of Pittwater stretch from Broken Bay in the north, Ku-Ring-Gai-Chase National Park to the west and the northern beach suburbs of Sydney to the East. Barrenjoey Headland is the most prominent landmark at the southern headland entrance to Broken Bay. Pittwater itself is a deep water bay that runs north/south for approx five miles, and is fringed by bays and coves making for intriguing exploration. |
|
Enjoy |
Kur-Ring- Gai-Chase National Park is a tight cluster of secretive, winding creeks, sheltered beaches, hidden coves and wide expanses of deep blue water. You'll find heathlands on the sandstone ridges, dense forests on the slopes, and mangroves on the tidal mudflats. The park's scenic beauty is combined with a rich Aboriginal heritage and a strong sense of history. So it's hardly surprising that millions of walkers, boaters, swimmers and picnickers have visited this iconic Sydney park since it opened in 1894. |
