Kuringai Motor Yacht Club, NSW
The Kuring-gai Motor Yacht Club (KMYC) is located at Cottage Point in
Kuring-gai Chase National Park. Just 45 minutes north of Sydney, the park and its waterways are a prime example of an unspoilt natural environment, yet it's within a whisper of a major metropolitan centre. Tucked in behind the sweet smelling eucalypts, with birdsong the dominant sound, it's easy to imagine that the city is far, far away.

Traditional Family Club
KMYC welcomes new members and guests who enjoy boating and relaxing with friends in a traditional family club. Members vessels range from traditional wooden cruisers built around the same time as club was founded, in 1945, to the very latest motor and sailing yachts.

Members enjoy club facilities that include a traditional waterfront clubhouse with extensive gardens, swimming pool and a large BBQ area. As well, there's a slipway, work pontoon and permanent, secure swing moorings. Full waterfront services are available to members including water, sewage pump-out and fuel. KMYC members are also entitled to exclusive use of club moorings in America and Refuge Bay and at Coasters Retreat. Facilities are also available for hire to members and guests.

There's Always Something to Do at KMYC
KMYC provides a wide range of boating and off water activities throughout the year. The highlight of the calendar is the season launch in September with the traditional Opening Day lunch sail past and salute. But there is plenty happing all year round.

Other events throughout the year include:

    * Navigation rallies and Time Trials to improve boating skills
    * Long weekend raft-ups including the Easter Colo Cruise
    * Carols on the water
    * Various on water and off water dinners at the clubhouse
    * End of season awards and entertainment

Membership is open to everyone who enjoys boating, both on an off the water, with a number of membership categories available. Joining KMYC can significantly improve your boating experience. The relaxing location in one of northern Sydney's most beautiful National Parks, combined with an active boating and social calendar, all combine to provide a friendly atmosphere in a welcoming club environment.
