CYCSA is a Clean Marina

Cruising Yacht Club of South AustraliaThe Cruising Yacht Club of South Australia is the State’s premier yacht club, catering for over 1200 members with a diverse range of sporting and social interests. Located on the LeFevre Peninsula at North Haven, an Adelaide waterfront suburb, the Club was incorporated in 1973 and has been in its present position since 1983. Just five minutes from Semaphore, ten minutes from increasingly thriving Port Adelaide, and 15 minutes from West Lakes, the CYCSA’s location is unreservedly convenient.

The CYCSA covers approximately 36 hectares, which includes water and land from the inner breakwater to the North Haven harbor through to Lady Gowrie Drive. Today, through continued development and improvements, the Club boasts two substantial marina basins, hardstand berthing, a prestigious clubhouse and outdoor patio facilities. The Club’s leading reputation is enhanced by amenities and facilities you would expect to find in South Australia’s premier yacht club.

Active in the boating community, the CYCSA is a member of Marina Industry Association of Australia, the Boating Industry Association of South Australia, Yachting Australia, Yachting South Australia, Clubs SA, and Business SA to name just a few. CYCSA Marina East has berthing for 240 vessels up to 22 metres and 150 hard standing berths up to 12 metres, while our CYCSA Port Vincent Marina can berth up to 90 vessels. CYCSA Marina West now caters for a further 73 vessels up to 35 metres in length.

Marina berths are available in single and double pens, and are serviced by power and water. Hard standing berths are serviced by power, water and a magnificent dual lane launch and retrieval ramp, all in a fully fenced, floodlit, security alarm protected sealed area.

Mariners Restaurant is located within the Clubhouse and is an excellent facility with a capacity for 330 people, with adjacent indoor and outdoor bar facilities. Dockside Bar & Bistro is part of a substantial and popular undercover patio area that overlooks the marina. The Clubhouse is supplemented by the Kinnaird Room, a small training and conference facility, and an impressive paved barbeque area that provides refrigeration and kitchen facilities to members. Call CYCSA on 08 8248 4222 if you would like to make use of these facilities.

Secure car parking, showers, toilets, dock WiFi access, workshop and slipping areas provide excellent facilities for members’ needs, while nearby services include transport, shops, chandlery, engineering and marine services. Visiting yachts and their crews are always welcome: simply call the office in advance on the above number to book your marina berth.
